Mum

MUM

Mum you are the best.you make me so happy and you look after me like I am a queen. You are the best ever and you are always there for me when I am happy and sad. We laugh together and we dance to all our favorite songs. You bake with me and you help us out. I know you are worried about your mum and dad but I want you to know that I am too. You fill my heart with love and joy.  You are so kind not only to us kids but to everyone around. When I am with you I feel so happy and I hope you do too. Mum you are like a best friend to everyone. you are a true mum.  I LOVE YOU.

Bugbix for Breakfast

I have been reading a book about bugs with my reading group called Bugbix for Breakfast and here is some things that I put on my slide from my learning.

Essential Workers Thank you Letter

Dear Kaitaia Hospital Staff,

Hi Kaitaia Hospital Staff. My name is Tuva-Lisa and I want to thank you for all you've done for NZ through this  past 3 weeks of the Lock down. I know you all have been working hard and I really want to thank you for everything you have done.

We have been washing our hands all the time and we won't let our grandparents go out of their property. They have only gone out once but I try to convince them not to even if it is for a little bit.

My grandad has heart problems and a lot more and we all don't want him to get it because there is a risk of him dying.๐Ÿ˜ฃ I have some grandparents in Sweden and we are also very worried for them.

Thank you again, ka kite
Tuva-Lisa

Kawa of Care Assembly-Draft Writing

WALT understand the Kawa of care and write a recount about our assembly experience.

Check out my draft writing...

One day when the sun was shining Te manga had a exciting day ahead of them.It was Friday and we were having our class assembly! We were having our class assembly at Paparore school on West coast road in the hole.Son all the Paparore whano, teachers and kids were in the hole and it was time for the intro.

After the intro was finished Te Manga came in with music and it was time for me to start talking.I had to talk in a microphone to make my voice louder.I had to say Welcome to our Kawa of care assembly. Before I started talking I had butterflies in my tummy and I was thinking about remembering my lines over and over again.

After all the other acts were finished it was time for me to talk again. As well I had to talk in a microphone to make my voice louder. My second part I had to say Remember if others in the classrooms are not doing the right thing help them out and remind them how to manage their device. Then Alani had to talk and after Alani

was finished it was Atima’s turn to talk. After that it was time for me to talk and I had to say Remember always follow the KAWA OF CARE!!After that everyone started clapping and Kiora said ser can you please hand out the certificates.
